I’m flying on a jet plane…

Just before leaving…

I leave for Melbourne at night. The flight departs Singapore Changi International Airport at 2340hours. It feels really different this time. I don’t know why either. Perhaps it’s because I’ve become a third year student. Perhaps it’s because of all the many things that has happened. Perhaps it’s because I’ll be staying at a new place from now on. Perhaps… well, I don’t know either. It just feels different. I cannot really place my finger on it. I have mixed feelings about going back to Melbourne. But well, I guess it’s just the way it is.

I’m done with packing of my luggage and I sure hope that it wouldn’t exceed the allocated baggage weight. Hee~ I hope that we get a nice check-in staff at the counter.

Almost done with packing…

I’m almost done with my packing… I’m just left with my trusted laptop. Hee~ But the thing is, I cannot find my key chain! Araghz!

Image hosting by Photobucket I’m so glad that people donated to save d-x! They raised $1300 or was it $1200 in 24 hours. Not bad eh? Hee~ I hope that all the journals will be saved! :)

Ok woah! We’ve reached the required $1200 that we needed. Combined with the $1500 from the previous drive, we have enough to cover the cost of the repair. We’ve sent the drive out to the recovery facility and we should hear back in a few days (hopefully by end of day on Thursday) what the status is.

Several people have told me that I should under no circumstances remove the donation button, so it’s still present down below. However, donations are no longer necessary. You’re still welcome to donate, of course! If nothing else, the money will go toward the general server fund.

If you are a Diary-X user, save your PayPal receipt — I will be giving pro-rated Plus! subscriptions to everyone who donated. This means some folks are going to wind up with several year’s worth of Plus!. If you’re not a Diary-X user and you donated, God bless you for helping us out.
Once again, many folks (including me) are talking about this over in the Diary-X Community at LiveJournal. Thanks again for your support!

My key chain is a nici flibbie. It’s even got the Singapore Flag embroided on it! *sighs* I asked PZ if she could help me find it when she goes out shopping. Hee~ I hope there still is stock left.

Uh, lemme see… I lost a lot of stuff things stuff (for the lack of a better word) this holiday… Hmm… I think I ought to list them down.

I lost…
1. My Grandmother (she passed away due to weak health during the last days)
2. My Flibbie Key Chain with Singapore Flag
3. My ProjectShopBloodBrothers card holder
4. My Happy House Pig Mouse Pad
5. Money (It dropped from my bag)
6. My Card Print
7. My old blog (that is, if the data cannot be recovered from the hard disk)

Now, isn’t that a lot of stuff that I’ve lost? Talk about being unlucky man. :( But I’m sure as hell glad that the maid has gone back (of her own free will).

Alright. I better go do all my other stuffs. :) I’ll see when I can blog again.

Still packing…

I’ve been packing almost the whole day. Okay, not exactly the whole day. Xue Ting, Shumin and Carolina came over for a while. We had heaps of fun playing UNO Stacko! Hahaha. Okay, we also had a bit of gossiping also. Haha.

Kinda feel out of touch with them though. Seems like they’re all growing up all so fast. Hee~ I mean, some of them already graduated from secondary school and are already going on to post secondary education already!!! Hee~

Oh yes, I’m rather worried that the luggage with be overweight. I sure hope that it will not! :S Hmm… I hope there won’t be any hiccups at the airport.

And I miss Diary-x! It’s fun to blog there!!! Okay, I’m just used to blogging there. But it’s also nice to blog here too!

*sighs* Gonna fly 6027km away from him. Gonna miss him like crazy. And Hugo too! *big sigh*
